C 69, 055205 (2004) [4 pages]Model-independent view on the low-mass proton-antiproton enhancementReceived 27 October 2003; published 28 May 2004 We present a simple interpretation of the recently observed near-threshold proton-antiproton enhancement. It is described by a set of low-energy parameters deduced from the analysis of NN̅ experiments at the Low Energy Antiproton Ring.
