Six resonances in the reaction 28Si(α,γ)32S below 3 MeV were studied. The γ decay of these resonances was observed with a HPGe detector. Previous results for resonance strengths have been verified, but the uncertainties of the strengths could be reduced significantly. Improved astrophysical reaction rates were determined with the measured resonance strengths.
