Tensor analyzing powers for 2H(d⃗,d)2H elastic scattering were measured at deuteron energies of 3.0, 4.75, and 6.0 MeV. The measured values are below 0.02 and increase with increasing energy. The data were compared to the results of an R-matrix parametrization and microscopic four-body calculations. The calculations indicate that the nucleon-nucleon p waves have a strong effect on the observables.
