Phys. Rev. C 59, R2993–R2997 (1999)Isotopic effect in φ photoproduction at a few GeV
A distinct isotopic π-η interference effect in φ photoproduction at √s∼2–5 GeV region is identified by examining the Pomeron- and meson-exchange amplitudes. This isotopic interference effect is a consequence of the SU(3) symmetry and the isotopic structure of the γNN coupling in the direct φ-radiation amplitude. It can be tested experimentally by measuring differences in the polarization observables between the γp⃗φp and γn⃗φn reactions. © 1999 The American Physical Society URL:
