C 55, 2734–2735 (1997)β decay in the mass 60 region in the framework of the interacting boson approximationReceived 11 December 1996; published in the issue dated May 1997 β decay rates for the Gamow-Teller transition between odd-proton and odd-neutron nuclei and between odd-odd and even-even nuclei in the mass-60 region have been calculated in the interacting boson model.
