Phys. Rev. C 40, 1591–1594 (1989)Preequilibrium emission of hard photons in proton-nucleus reactionsReceived 7 March 1989; published in the issue dated October 1989 The preequilibrium hybrid model is extended to account for emission of hard photons using the quasideuteron radiative concept and detailed balance. We analyze proton-nucleus reactions, find good accord with the observed photon spectra at 72 MeV incident proton energy, and predict two times higher spectra than the observed ones at 140 MeV. © 1989 The American Physical Society URL:
