The half-life of 163Ho was investigated by a mass spectrometric determination of the quantity of 163Dy formed by the electron-capture decay of 163Ho. The half-life of 163Ho was measured to be 4569±30 yr (68% confidence level). The result of this work is in excellent agreement with the value previously obtained by Baisden et al.
